Constitutional Focus
This constitution establishes “Unity Beyond Seas,” an association dedicated to networking African associations in Duisburg and beyond. Our mission is to integrate these associations into German society and to promote active participation in all areas of life in Duisburg and Germany. We commit to being our brothers’ keepers, promoting unity, support, and cooperation.
- Promoting youth and elder care.
- Promoting education, public and vocational training, including student aid.
- Promoting art and culture.
- Promoting international understanding, tolerance in all areas of culture, and the idea of international understanding.
- Promoting search services for missing persons.
- Cooperation with associations, initiatives, and individuals in Duisburg and the surrounding area through cultural events and activities.
- Promoting help for people discriminated against because of their gender identity or sexual orientation.
- Promoting inclusion and youth education, as well as support for people with physical or mental disabilities, including tutoring with trained staff or elders assisting the young.
- Promoting assistance for politically, racially, or indigenous, religiously persecuted persons, refugees, displaced persons, resettlers, late repatriates, war victims, war survivors, war-disabled persons, and prisoners of war, civilians injured in conflicts, and disabled persons, as well as assistance for victims of crime.
- Promoting the memory of persecuted persons, war, and disaster victims
- Exploring Africa, Germany, together, learning about customs and traditions, and cooking African, German food.
- Organizing music, film, and theater events, activities, and exhibitions for all ages and backgrounds, regardless of physical and mental condition, in the form of participation or as spectators.
